We all need some compani.
A gentle voice for the people we love who live with dementia. Always patient. Always present. Never in a hurry to be somewhere else.
iPhone & iPad. Android in development.
What it is
A voice for when you can't be there.
Compani is a voice companion designed from the ground up for people living with dementia. One round orb on the screen. One warm voice. Nothing to read, nothing to type, nothing to accidentally tap.
She remembers your mum's stories — and she doesn't mind hearing them again. She knows the family by name. She knows the dog's name. She knows it's Tuesday and that Tom's coming over later.
She'll never rush. She'll never get tired. And when the afternoon gets long and lonely, she's just a tap away.
What she looks like
One orb. One voice.
Nothing to figure out.
Every screen is a single tap. No menus, no settings, no accidental swipes. The orb is the whole interface.

What she sounds like
A little of an afternoon.
Is it Tuesday today?
It is. And Tom's coming over later — about three, I think.
Have I taken my pills?
You did, just after breakfast. They're done.
Tell me about the kids again.
Sarah's at work today, but she'll ring tonight. And little Mae lost a tooth — the front one. She drew you a picture this morning.
I'm a bit lonely this afternoon.
I'm here. Would you like to listen to a story, or hear about the garden?
For the people who care
A little less guilt.
A little more help.
You can't be there for every long afternoon. Compani can. And while she's there, she's quietly making your week a little easier too.
She knows the calendar
Pair Google Calendar and she'll naturally mention that Tom's visiting at three — no nagging, no alarms.
She plays the right songs
Pair Spotify and Compani can put on the music that brings them back. Sinatra, Sunday hymns, whatever the request.
A gentle daily note
Each evening you get a short summary of how the day's conversations went. No transcripts. No surveillance. Just the shape of the day.
